Get Started on Your Next Generation Data Center Today

Software Defined Data Centers (SDDC) have become essential in a fiercely competitive landscape.  We've all heard the talking points - we need flexible technology, we need agile solutions, and we need to be scalable for growth, but how does this happen in today's fast-paced world, while keeping costs under control?

At Evolving Solutions, our technologists and engineers are focused on helping our clients architect Software Defined Data Centers that fit their business strategy and growth.  We work to combine the required data center hardware, with the software-driven intelligence of automation and orchestration.

Where do you start?

A Software Defined Data Center includes three key components:

To keep things simple, let's focus on Software Defined Storage (SDS).  Today, cutting-edge SDS can be integrated into an infrastructure via a virtual server, physical server, or converged appliance. Many current offerings of IT solutions in the marketplace, like IBM Spectrum Storage™, already come equipped with what is considered “software-defined” technology.

A SDDC is Dependent on Software Defined Storage.

A functional SDDC requires that all hardware resources be fully controlled and operated through software controls.  While storage options can be configured according to the workload, it is important that such values are aligned with the workload's demands of computing as well.

How can Evolving Solutions help?

We know IBM Power Systems like the back of our hand.  And as needs and requirements of our clients changes and becomes more sophisticated, we've evolved with them.  Our IBM Power Systems experts and software consultants can help your team define their image and video needs, architect a solution, then implement it in your environment.

INFOGRAPHIC

IDC paints a compelling picture to make the case for Software Defined Storage and the next generation of infrastructure.

  • 75% of enterprises have deployed/considering deploying SDS in the data center.
  • 61% of enterprises that deployed SDS realized tangible benefits.

Accelerate the adoption of cognitive capabilities by automating image & video analysis with
IBM PowerAI Vision.

PowerAI Vision makes Computer Vision with deep learning more accessible and more performant. By combining PowerAI Vision software with accelerated IBM® Power Systems™, enterprises can rapidly deploy a fully optimized and supported platform with blazing performance. PowerAI Vison includes an intuitive toolset that empowers subject matter experts to create Vision models, without coding or deep learning expertise. It includes the most popular deep learning frameworks and their dependencies, and it is built for easy and rapid deployment and increased team productivity.

How does PowerAI Vision Work?

PowerAI Vision abstracts machine learning - and makes it incredibly easy.  The software can speed up image recognition and make it easy for enterprises to implement computer vision as they introduce AI into infrastructures.

Image recognition includes analyzing and classifying of pixels.  The more exposure to the certain images, the stronger the model becomes.  PowerAI Vision is also designed to worked with IBM Power Servers

How is PowerAI Vision Used Today?

Safety

Industries are applying AI technologies to monitor and enforce regulations for safety. Embedded computer vision applications can flag workers while entering hazardous environments or scan a construction area to alert supervisors to act.
Quality Control

Retailers are using the AI technologies to check quality control of products like fruits and vegetables to ensure they align with standards and expectations.  The software can search for flaws and inconsistencies of products on conveyor belts and note when they don't match requirements.
